Photographer’s Note: One of the hardest parts of photographing a championship game is when the team loses. It means you have to capture the photos that represent the loss. Love this photo as it is slightly different from a lot of other loss pics. Something about the hands reaching inside the face mask to whip away the few tears shed before he got emotions back in check.
