Photographer’s Note: It took me two days and about three hours total of sitting and waiting for him (or one of the others) to finally visit this tree so I could capture these images.
Normally, we have move of them flying around at this point, but neighbors have cut away many of their flowering bushes that the hummers visiting historically like + we had to remove our two butterfly bushes.
As our rose gardens returns to blooming again in the next week or two, I’ve a feeling they will be back flying around our own Whispering Grove.
