\"\"This past weekend, we decided we wanted to get out of the house and do something.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

As wife had a hankering for apples, we chose to set course for Carter Mountain Apple Orchard over in Charlottesville.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Now, tickets were sold out so the option to pick apples was out the window, but it was free to take the scenic route through the orchard.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

All you had to do was follow the road and follow the signs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Apples were on the trees to either side, but could not stop to pick.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

About halfway or so through the orchard, you would come up to a spot where you could either place an order or do as we did … pick up an online order.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The REAL FIND for me during this tour was the rusted, abandoned old pickup truck that just added to the character of the place.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It makes me want to go back at some point just to do some closer in photography of this lovely beast as it cries out for a serious photo shoot.<\/p>\r\n

Oh the possibilities! … Future visits are guaranteed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
